Active project support
If you are already working with MP Drafting, use a subject line that makes routing obvious. Keep requests specific so revisions do not get lost in a long email chain.
Typical messages we receive include follow-ups like: “Hope your week was great man, just wanted to follow up on this project…” Clear identifiers help us answer without delays.
Put the Project Name in the subject line
Lets us pull the file immediately without a back-and-forth to identify the job.
Reference the sheet, elevation, grid line, or opening
Specific references mean we address the exact location rather than guessing what the comment applies to.
Paste the comment in the email body
Not only in a screenshot. Text is searchable and easier to act on than an image.
Request a live review if that's faster
"Please call, or send teams invite for date/time." We respond to direct requests like this.
See how kickoff, review cycles, and revisions are handled.
Sample subject line
Subject
400 Main Street – Curtain Wall, Sill Revision Request, [INSERT JOB NUMBER]*
*You can find your job number in the lower right corner of all shop drawings we send out.
Body
Sheet CW-04, Grid Line B, Head condition. Architect requested the sill return be extended 2” per attached RFI.
Deadline: Resubmit by Friday.
This is enough for us to find the file, locate the condition, and respond or turn the revision without a follow-up.
