Quote Routing

The fastest way to get a quote

If you need pricing and scheduling guidance, the quote intake is the fastest route because it captures the information that affects scope. This also reduces back-and-forth when deadlines are tight.

Customer language we see often looks like: “All of them are ASAP!” and “I need to get them submitted asap.” This page is set up to route those requests correctly.

1 Request a Quote

Use when the goal is pricing, schedule, and a defined deliverable.

2 Email

Use when you need to send drawings and scope quickly and want a direct thread.

If you are unsure what to select, choose the closest match. We confirm scope during intake.

What we hear most

"All of them are ASAP!"
"I need to get them submitted asap"
"The sooner the better as they want this installed ASAP."

If that is where you are, use the quote form. Include the deadline in plain language and we will route it correctly.

Drawings and document stack

Before You Send

What to send so we can respond accurately

Most delays on the front end come from unclear scope or missing inputs. If you want a faster, cleaner response, send the items below.

If a deadline is driving the request, say so plainly. Contractors often write: “The sooner the better as they want this installed ASAP.” That context changes how we triage questions and next steps.

  1. Architectural drawings (PDF, and DWG if available)
  2. Specs that drive submittal requirements
  3. Scope confirmation (your quote, a highlighted set, or a written scope statement)
  4. Any known constraints (release dates, fabrication deadlines, phased areas)
  5. The best point of contact for questions

Helpful if you want to align on the level of clarity and documentation before kickoff.

Active Projects

Active project support

If you are already working with MP Drafting, use a subject line that makes routing obvious. Keep requests specific so revisions do not get lost in a long email chain.

Typical messages we receive include follow-ups like: “Hope your week was great man, just wanted to follow up on this project…” Clear identifiers help us answer without delays.

Put the Project Name in the subject line

Lets us pull the file immediately without a back-and-forth to identify the job.

Reference the sheet, elevation, grid line, or opening

Specific references mean we address the exact location rather than guessing what the comment applies to.

Paste the comment in the email body

Not only in a screenshot. Text is searchable and easier to act on than an image.

Request a live review if that's faster

"Please call, or send teams invite for date/time." We respond to direct requests like this.

See how kickoff, review cycles, and revisions are handled.

Engineering

Engineering questions

MP Drafting provides planning and shop drawings. Engineering is structural validation and must be performed by a Professional Engineer when required. MP can coordinate engineering workflows, but we do not position drafting as a replacement for a PE.

If you are unsure whether a job requires engineering, tell us what system and scope you are working with and what the specification is asking for.

  • If you already have an engineer, we coordinate around that workflow.
  • If you need engineering support coordinated, note it in your request so it is routed correctly.

Clarify what is required so drafting and engineering stay in the right lanes.

General Inquiry

Send a message

Use this form for general questions, active project questions, or to start a conversation if you do not have drawings ready yet.

If you want pricing, the Request a Quote intake is still the fastest route because it captures the information needed to quote accurately.

    Common Questions

    FAQs

These address the most common contact-page questions and the recurring friction points we see in real email threads.

Should I use Contact or Request a Quote?

Use Request a Quote when you need pricing, schedule, and a defined deliverable. Use Contact when you have a general question or you are not ready to send drawings yet.

What is the fastest way to get a response when we are under a deadline?

Email drawings and scope and include the deadline in plain language. Many contractors simply write "ASAP" or "I need to get them submitted asap." That is enough to route correctly if the project name and scope are included.

What if I do not have a complete set yet?

Send what you have, and include what is missing. We can tell you what we need next to quote and start cleanly.

    Do you provide engineering?

Engineering is structural validation performed by a Professional Engineer when required. MP can coordinate engineering workflows while keeping drafting and engineering responsibilities clear.

Can we do a quick call instead of a long email chain?

Yes. If a live review is faster, request it directly. We often see messages like "Please call, or send teams invite for date/time."
